Valladolid also opened their season with a victory, recording 2-1 win over Real Betis thanks to a late goal from Oscar Plano. Sergi Guardiola had handed them the lead in the second half before being pegged back. However, Sergio’s team found their clinical edge to secure the three points. They now face a massive challenge against Madrid, who won their last two meetings comfortably in the previous term.

Real Madrid kicked off their LaLiga campaign on the road last week against Celta Vigo with a 3-1 triumph. Goals from Karik Benzema, Toni Kroos and Lucas Vazquez guided them to the three points, despite seeing Luka Modric dismissed during the second half. Zinedine Zidane will be looking to put the pressure on Barcelona immediately following the champions slip-up in their opener, extending their advantage to six points with a win tonight.

Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the LaLiga clash between Real Madrid and Real Valladolid at the Bernabeu.
